God knew that at some point, the Israelites would mess up again. Their rebellious nature would take over and they'd be seeking their own pleasure soon enough. Because of this, God took Himself out of the picture so that He wouldn't destroy them! Pastor Daniel will remind you today that this was before Jesus had come to be the sacrificial lamb, something that you're able to be covered by! His death allows you to be in God's presence!
