Arbalest

Oh sure, your longbows and your short bows gets lots of love in your basic fantasy roleplaying game of choice. And that’s fine. But there is a particular class of ranged weapon that gets scoffed at and given to the character that has the worst ranged attack in the party in the hopes that somehow, some way, they’ll be able to accidentally hit something with it and do more than a point of damage. But that ends now. Because once you’ve heard what an arbalest is and can do, you’ll wonder why you haven’t had one yourself. So let’s dive in and get to the point while discussing this particular art of war. GM Word of the Week is made possible by listeners like you on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/GMWordoftheWeek
