Celtic Rock

Not the Boston basketball team, and not the Blarney Stone. Much older than Merry Olde England, the Celts are a race that date back to the 6th century BC in the Alps.  They ultimately wound up in the western, more primitive parts of Britain.   What sort of rock did the ancient Celts listen to?  Who knows!  But their spiritual descendants are making music that is primal, fundamental and earthy.   Pull out your penny whistle and pipe along with Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span, Jethro Tull, The Young Dubliners, The Cranberries, AC/DC, The Decemberists and Fleet Foxes!
