Elizabeth M. Adams is a native Minnesotan with over 25 years’ experience overseeing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) efforts within and across business sectors.  Elizabeth has led teams of subject matter experts in the implementation of countless technology & financial projects for Sprint, Nextel, Best Buy, 3M, Motorola, General Motors, ITT, Fannie Mae and several large Intelligence Agencies.   Elizabeth works at Thomson Reuters in technology integration at the intersection of Cyber Security, Data Ethics and AI Governance. To ensure AI innovation continues as companies, countries, and governments move to Trustworthy AI, Elizabeth advises on AI frameworks with a focus on positive social impacts.   Elizabeth is a Diversity & Inclusion in Artificial Intelligence practitioner, advisor, consultant, speaker, writer and author. She has facilitated Diversity & Inclusion learning events focused on racial and gender bias in Facial Recognition Technology, Video Surveillance, Predictive Analytics and Children's Rights.   Elizabeth’s community experience reaches far and wide.  She’s a former board member for the YMCA North Minneapolis, MN, Dress for Success, Washington D.C., and the National Black MBA Association, Washington, D.C.  Elizabeth serves her community as a City of Minneapolis appointee on the Racial Equity Community Advisory Committee.  Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Bethel University, a graduate certificate in Leadership Development from Johns Hopkins University and a Diversity & Inclusion certificate from Cornell University.  She is currently completing her MBA from Capella University.  Elizabeth also holds Project Management Professional, ITILv.3, Sec+ and Agile Scrum Master certifications.
