1989 wurde das ZKM | Zentrum für Kunst und Medien mit der visionären Idee gegründet, die klassischen Künste ins digitale Zeitalter fortzuschreiben. Deshalb wird es gelegentlich auch als »digitales Bauhaus« bezeichnet. Mit seinen künstlerischen Produktionen, Ausstellungen, Veranstaltungen und Publikationen zeigt es, welche neuen Wege Kunst und Gesellschaft beschreiten können, wenn sie neue Medien ästhetisch erproben und kritisch diskutieren. /// The ZKM | Center for Art and Media was founded in 1989 with the visionary idea of continuing the classical arts into the digital age. Using collected audio from the App »MyCity, MySounds«, Scottish composer and guest artist Amble Skuse creates a live soundscape performance, triggered by data from her own body, using bio sensors as cyborg controllers to interface between body and city.

Mittels der mit der App »MyCity, MySounds« gesammelten Audiodaten erstellt die schottische Komponistin und Gastkünstlerin Amble Skuse eine Live-Soundscape-Performance. Die Daten erhält sie aus ihrem eigenen Körper, wobei Biosensoren als Cyborg-Controller die Schnittstelle zwischen Körper und Stadt bilden.
