Last week, Latvians moved a bit closer to cleaning up their banking sector. Unfortunately, money laundering has been a serious issue in all Baltic countries for a while now. Estonia's coal mining industry is coming to an end, leaving many miners without work. There aren't any real alternatives in sight for them and this issue might stir up a conflict in a region next to the border of Russia. Lithuania's army is growing rapidly and the new focus is on cyber security.
