episode 1: Laserfiche: Wendy Lam
Wendy Lam is an engineering manager at Laserfiche. As a software professional with more than 15 years of experience in software development, Wendy has extensive experience providing technical leadership and guidance, building relationships with stakeholders and project management, and a proven track record in delivering quality software for organizations from startups to mature companies. In her role at Laserfiche, Wendy leads a team of engineers that is responsible for developing, testing, delivering and maintaining Laserfiche’s infrastructure supporting the company’s global offices. Prior to Laserfiche, Wendy worked as a tech lead for Honey Science, leading the team that managed the company’s most popular features. She also worked as an engineering manager at the Aerospace Corporation, where she collaborated with critical stakeholders to identify requirements for the next generation of innovative engineering applications and guided the development team responsible for more than 10 products. Wendy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a certified Scrum Master and fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. Wendy enjoys volunteering for organizations that promote coding education, such as Code.org, and spending time with her two children. Wendy is also a reiki certified practitioner.
