Learn English Through Football Podcast: 2019-20 Liverpool vs Manchester City
DF: You’re listening to Languagecaster.com’s football-language podcast. Hello everyone and welcome to the Learn English Through Football Podcast – this is the podcast for all those who love the beautiful game of football and who also wish to improve their English language skills. My name’s Damon and I’m based in Japan, and it’s been great weather – cool, autumnal weather with lovely blue skies. The summer heat is well and truly gone!
As for football, well, I watched a couple of Champions League games mid-week, including the Liverpool vs Genk game, and before that I saw Manchester United lose to Bournemouth and Liverpool snatch a victory away at Aston Villa with two late late goals last weekend. But of course, the highlight for me as a Liverpool fan was watching The Reds shred Manchester City’s defence and beat them 3-1 on Sunday. Wow!
