Secuencia 3 Radio

We present: Secuencia 3 Radio, a Radio / Podcast where we offer series of thematic programs and music mixes. Nothing new under the sun, but with a different claim. Claim that we as listeners we threw at fault and so we decided to get to the other side and give ourselves what we demand, respect for electronic music, because the current communicative possibilities and musical democratization bring us the opportunity. No big supports, no big media, but we work with great care and respect for the music in general and electronic music in particular. We do not want to give lessons because we are not who. We only want a dialogue with you and your musical interests. Welcome, We hope you enjoy us. Secuencia3Radio - Electronic Maieutics

S3R53 - Secuencia X Friends - OUSSAMA K

www.facebook.com/secuencia3radio We are back with one of the most followed series at this home, Secuencia X Friends, and this time we join forces with a friend: Oussama K. Oussama is a very talented guy from the electronic scene of Lyon (France) with several productions and a sophisticated dj set we are really proud to drop here. We talked to him and we had a very nice conversation, here you have an extract: "I have many influences when it takes to music. I won’t quote any artist in particular, there are too many… I like chords and free construction from the jazz; the dreamy and opened sounds from ambient rawness and metallic sounds from the electronic stuff, and of course, the groove and simplicity from house music. In every project I work on, I try to expose all these aspects with my ideas and go further with it. But of course, all these are preferences, not rules. I don’t like to put myself in borders and pray to be labeled as a «House producer». I really do like FM synthesis and digital synths. The hardest thing for me nowadays is to find a workflow that really stimulate us everyday, without pushing you in every opposable direction. As DAWs do. Early electronic artists were limited by their gear and that what gave them their sounds. Now that you have every sound possible, it takes twice more efforts to your brain to find your path through the infinite possibilities and someway it’s an interesting challenge. I’ve no idea why some people are leading a crusade for the «old analog stuff» and ruin themselves or their parents to make stupid stuff that sounds like a car wash, convinced that it’s the «real sound». Live with your time and follow your tastes". In this podcast you can listen an awesome selection of old school vibes mixed with an exquisite style. You know, that kind of mix that is always on your phone with five stars. As his own words: "I tried to compile some of late 90's - 2000's electronic stuff. Abstract journey through groove, for clubs proposal. Fading slowly with harmony and then getting groovy!." We have to thank Oussama for this perfect work. It's really nice to see a young talent doing this kind of stuff. https://soundcloud.com/oussamak
