Inflatable Jesus
Our best attempts to have a Merry Christmas often end up like inflatable holiday lawn decorations – deflated and unplugged from the light. In a world that frightens us and causes despair, we need something more than “good cheer” because the world so often seems against us. Hope is born when Christ is born. Hope becomes real when God is incarnate among us. Hope is born if we can trust that the universe is bent toward love.
