Malwarebytes: Akshay Bhargava
Akshay Bhargava serves as the Chief Product Officer at Malwarebytes. Bhargava brings nearly 20 years of experience in product, go-to-market and engineering leadership to the company. In this role, he is responsible for driving the company’s technology vision, product roadmap and execution. Before joining Malwarebytes, Bhargava was the Vice President of the Oracle Cloud Business Group. At Oracle, he led various aspects of Oracle Cloud across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. He also led the launch of Oracle Cloud Services for Security and Management. Prior to Oracle, Bhargava was a management consultant from McKinsey & Company, where he worked with numerous C-suite and boards on topics related to product, strategy, cybersecurity, and GTM. He has held a variety of product, marketing, and engineering leadership roles at FireEye, NetApp, and Rainfinity (acquired by EMC). Bhargava holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from MIT Sloan, with a specialization in entrepreneurship and innovation.
