If you have a message, or you are in the process of finding your voice, you need a platform on which to build, grow, and tell your full story.
Today we talk about how to build your brand platform to share your message and become a one man/woman media company. A brand platform puts you in control of the story, and gives you an archive of your perspective to share with the world.
There are three stages to building your brand platform.
- Pick your format - Chose the type of content (video, audio, or written) that suits your personal style and skill.
- Make it searchable - All of your content should be easy to find within your catalog using the right episode titles and tags.
- Be patient - When you start your platform, it will grow slowly at first. But as you spend more time creating, you will bring in an audience of subscribers that will compound over time.
