Their unique, six deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen the duo play leading clubs and festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound. They are co-owners of Glasgow's Riverside Festival, and also host the legendary Maximum Pressure warehouse parties, which showcase the best emerging local talent alongside some of the most established names in international techno. Their iconic Soma Records label boasts in excess of 600 releases, hosting Mcmillan and Meikle's own productions and many of today's most cutting-edge techno artists. The last few years have seen some of the duo's most prolific studio output as they continue to innovate and keep things moving forward, most recently with the release of their experimental full length record Athenæum 101. In addition, Slam have also remixed tracks from the likes of Planetary Assault Systems, Clouds, Dax J, Damon Wild, Richie Hawtin, and Truncate, to name just a few...

Slam Radio 383 with Ireen Amnes Ireen Amnes is a producer, DJ and founder of the London collective Under My Feet. Her hardware and DJ sets are moody and unpredictable, often exploring different mixtures of intensity. Forthcoming releases for this year includes an album on Sonic Groove Experiments and various collaborative EPs with Kamikaze Space Programme and Chloe Lula. Ireen has released on labels as diverse as Instruments of Discipline, Tales Collective, Metempsychosis Records and KOMBINAT. She defines music as a liberation of emotions and expression of her state of mind. For this reason, every single composition represents a different journey driven by these motives, keeping a distinct sound without conforming to particular styles.
