I have been a fan of the Tea Club since I heard the first seconds of “The Magnet” from their 2015 album Grappling. Ever since then, I have been a devoted disciple and proud member of The ‘The Tea Club’ Club. They released their highly anticipated follow up, If/When, in 2019, to rave reviews, and then toured the country with Bent Knee and Thank You Scientist. Daniel and Patrick McGowan stopped by the podcast (again!) to talk about the tour, the development of the new album, lyrical themes, how to write an almost 30 minute song, diamond heists by old men, and their favorite Zelda games.
