Temptation of the Beloved Son
We are taking the beginning steps in our forty day Lenten journey. These are forty days to slow down and examine ourselves, our relationship to God, and our relationship to our neighbors. Jesus begins his forty days after his baptism in the wilderness. Led by the Spirit, he fasts and is famished. The devil is right there to tempt him. What does temptation look like?
