The Ways Things Are
The advice of this world is acceptance. When bad things happen, you just have to accept it; get over it; move on; because that’s the way things are. Yet, deep in our souls, we know that the way things are is not the way they should be. Being cloistered in our homes, fearful of a bug that we can’t even see just doesn’t seem right. Hungry kids, racism, violence and death just don’t seem right. So, is thinking about the way things should be just wishful thinking? Not on Palm Sunday…
