episode 15: Dart Against Humanity Ep. 50: Beat Street Breakdown

On today's episode of Dart Against Humanity, I discuss my recent DJ Booth piece "Rap Journalism's Long Standing Research Problem" and the response to it. In addition, I  share how I might have figured out the release date of MF DOOM's "Operation: Doomsday". In the second half of the podcast I spend a good amount of time discussing "Beat Street" and what went wrong with it. I also discuss why it remains a cult classic in spite of its shortcomings. Read the 35th anniversary piece about it I wrote on Okayplayer.
