Pup Games Excerpt:
The night sky twinkled with the light of stars, while a sliver of the moon smiled down on the earth. In their cozy den the furry pile of coyote pups began to stir. One after another, each little pup stretched and yawned. Cody woke with his brother’s outstretched paw touching his nose. The little pup batted Cade’s paw away and stretched too. Soon all the coyote pups were wide awake and ready to play. The pups bounced and rolled around the den until their mom encouraged them to go outside. Cody bounded outside the cave and howled hello to the moon. His brothers and sisters followed him. Cody ran over to his brother Cade and the two bounced up, their paws meeting in the air. Casey, Claire, and Clyde came running over to join them.
