We speak with Council  Member Gates about her role as the Chair for Dallas the Domestic Violence Task Force, which seeks to create a systemic response to end domestic violence in Dallas and to bridge communication between the Dallas Police Department (DPD), the District Attorney’s office, judges, and community partners.
