Sin Chooses to Separate but That's not the End of the Story
The pandemic has caused us to physically separate from those we love. It hits the hardest when we cannot see loved ones who are in care facilities and hospitals, but the separation is for a very good reason of keeping our loved ones safe. Separation is hard; yet so much of our everyday life is surrounded with ways that we separate: language barriers, ethnic divides, educational differences, separation into red and blue states, and so much more. Paul proclaims in Romans 8 the Good News about God's love and what it does to the power of sin that separates.
