Life in Mosul after ISIS - Jiyan le Musil paş Daiş
Documentary film-maker and journalist Alla Hoshiyar, speaks with us from Sinjar/Shengal, a day after he visited Mosul and its surrounding. He has documented the horrific reality of those who have lost loved ones. An estimated 200,000 civilians have lost their lives. Now most corpses are being disposed of without being identified, including those of children. At the same time only 3000 names have been registered as missing/deceased, Mr Hoshiyar believe this proves the lack of trust in the authorities and the Iraqi government, by the people.
