244: Legendary Political Consultant Bob Shrum Talks 2020 Presidential Race

Legendary political consultant Bob Shrum joins Ty on Beats & Eats to discuss the state of the 2020 Presidential race with less than 2 months to go.  Shrum, a veteran of the 2000 Gore campaign, and 2004 Kerry campaign, says this race feels a lot like the 1980 campaign when incumbents were wiped out.  Shrum also talks about what will happen to the Republican Party if Trump loses his re-election bid.  If you are a political junkie this is a fascinating discussion about what has happened during this campaign, and what might happen after.  For more on Bob, follow him at the USC Center for the Political future, where he has a leadership post along with his long-time friend and Republican consultant Mike Murphy https://dornsife-center-for-political-future.usc.edu/.  You can also follow Bob on Twitter @bobshrum.
