I yawn my way through chapter 35 of Homecoming, a book I wrote in a month. Margaux has a relatively uninteresting conversation with her father before running around a poorly described fortress that apparently needs some basic signage. I mean, if we're talking about stone or rock walls, couldn't they just write on them with charcoal or chalk? It really doesn't seem like that'd be difficult, and it would make life easier for contractors who might only be working in the facility for a short period. Otherwise, you're printing maps for everyone, which would involve paper. Last time I checked, paper could be used for signs. Get it together, evil villains! I demand that my father replace some manual drafting equipment. Discussion questions end our somewhat dull episode.
