"Let's Feed" in Melbourne has always been feeding the needy. During the pandemic they have sent out about 700 to 800 meals and 60 to 100 packs of groceries per week to those in need. Now, another grassroots activism in Melbourne called "Pataka" is helping the needy by setting up a pantry outside their house for people to pick up what they need and also leave behind goods that they can spare. It has inspired at least 50 pataka pantries in the suburbs of Melbourne. No questions asked and no judgements made, international students are welcome.
