So what brings Jem and the Holograms to an obviously made up European nation? Ridiculous hijinx, of course!

This time around we got a riff on the classic “The Prince and The Pauper” story, save any literary quality or plot substance. Basically, some princess is Kimber’s identical twin and the two get swapped. There’s also a coup for the princess’s throne. You can fill in the gaps from there.

The real hero of the story is Lexa, who is straight up willing to blow a trick up to gain power. That’s commitment right there. You get yours, girl.
