31. Anne Pleun van Eijsden: Leading a revolution in the paper industry

Anne Pleun van Eijsden, Founder of Paper on the Rocks, talks to Sue Stockdale about her mission to create a healthy paper industry, and why she created her own rules about how to run a business, rather than following the traditional approach to being an entrepreneur.

Paper on the Rocks, is a social impact business based in the Netherlands that wants to create a forest friendly paper industry by scaling tree-free paper alternatives. They primarily do so by making sustainable stationery like notebooks made from upcycled stone waste.

With a diverse background in History, International Law and Marketing, Anne Pleun knew from a young age that she wanted to become an entrepreneur and build a company that would change an industry for the better. She lives in the Netherlands with her partner and child.
