Miriam Linna made her mark on the music world in 1976 as the first drummer for the legendary band The Cramps before meeting her partner Billy Miller. Together, her and Billy formed the band called the A-Bones. Both Miriam and Billy then took their passion for music and started their own fanzine, Kicks, then came Norton Records, which focuses on amazing rockabilly & garage reissues from the 50s-70s. If that weren’t enough, Miriam’s love of literature led to the formation of Kick Books, their publishing company. Miriam has a new book just fresh off the press called, Mind Over Matter: The Myths and Mysteries of Detroits Fortune Records – written by Michael Hurtt and Billy Miller himself.
