Barr to AP: No Evidence of Widespread Fraud That Would Change Outcome of Election

President Donald Trump's Attorney General William Barr told the Associated Press, "there is no evidence of widespread fraud in the election." The AP published an interview with Barr Tuesday. The statements from the attorney general are one of the most recent official rebukes from the Republicans of the president's claims of widespread fraud in his loss to President-elect Joe Biden.

Trump and his attorneys are still pursuing legal action to challenge the 2020 election results in some key states. A number of those key states have already certified their results showing President-elect Biden as the winner. Both Arizona and Wisconsin certified their results on Monday.

Biden is revealing more about his plans for his first 100 days in office. He introduced his economic team tasked with helping the economy recover from the Covid-19 pandemic Tuesday. The President-elect also discussed calling on Congress to pass a stimulus bill.

Health care workers and residents of long-term care facilities will be first in line for any coronavirus vaccines. The vaccine advisers to the US Centers for Disease and Control Prevention voted to include both groups.

Vaccinations are expected to begin in mid-to-late December.

There are now 13.6 million Covid-19 cases in the United States, with almost 100,000 people hospitalized from the virus.
