Rikha Sharma Rani is an award-winning freelance journalist whose work has been featured in The Atlantic, The New York Times, Politico Magazine, The L.A. Times, and more. She is also a contributing editor for The Fuller Project, a nonprofit news organization focused on issues impacting women. Rikha's reporting, which includes coverage of family separation at the border, women's health, and COVID-19, has been recognized by the American Society of Journalists & Authors and the Milwaukee Press Club. Before becoming a journalist, she worked extensively in the global health space, including as part of a team that negotiated drug prices for the treatment of HIV/AIDS in low-income settings. She received her Master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
