This week’s guest on Under The Skin is the world famous singer and incredible activist and philanthropist Annie Lennox. Annie is most well known as the front woman of The Eurythmics!
She has won X4 Grammy’s and has sold over 83 million albums worldwide! Annie has just released THE 10th ANNIVERSARY RE-ISSUE of her album A CHRISTMAS CORNUCOPIA, that includes the single “Dido’s Lament”.
This is a beautiful, warm and creative podcast in which we speak about gift and purpose and Annie’s life as a singer being skyrocketed into fame in the 80s. We share our feelings on being performers, the art of communing with the sacred, how music and art are a form communication and purpose, but how the fame that accompanies it can destroy the artist. We also discuss activism, and how painful it can be to interface with the cruel realities we see so many people deal with. How can we change the world? Is it even possible? What is our purpose?
