This genre-defying tour-de-force could be called Horn Rock, Hard Rock, RnB, or, as I've done here, Funky Soul. No matter what category you pick, you gotta admit it's a Classic 45! By the way, this is the same version of the song as that released the year before on Mercury 73008, which hit #81p in May 1970. The A side is slightly edited from a 3:20 album track. Great, soulful flip, which is different from that on the earlier release. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Mercury Records factory sleeve. It has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
