episode 1: Finding Courage with Saima Dhillon
When you find yourself in the eye of the storm. You find everything around you closing in on you. 2016. I found myself standing alone. I was drowning. I didn’t know where to turn. I had just returned from Cancun after spending 4 days with my friend on a girls trip. As soon as I entered my house, I knew something was wrong. Immediately my carefree energy changed from elevated to dejected. During the months that followed we lost everything we had worked so hard to build over the past 2 decades; we lost our business and took a tremendous financial hit. The loss wasn't just financial, it was emotional & psychological as well. The raging storm swept everything in its path, family, love, children, health… In 2019 I hit my rock bottom. But as they say, when you hit the rock bottom, there is only one way to go and that's up.
No matter how hard I tried to remain optimistic, my balance was lost. My energy was dejected. For the first time I was scared. I had experienced failure before. History was repeating itself. The first time repercussions had been tremendous but we were young. Now we were in our 40’s. I didn’t know how we were doing to recover.
I started praying for some anchor. Some hope. Hope gives us courage. I was going through my emails and the subject line caught my attention. “The 10 Million Dollar Agent”. It was a Free class being offered at a Title Company. That's where I met Brian Dobbs. He was teaching this course that he had put together. Brian had been a Real Estate Coach for decades.
