I’m here for it! Today is the day that the Biden – Harris administration takes office. In 2009 I had the pleasure of covering the inauguration of the first Black President of the United States. In 2021 we usher in a new feat. While congratulations are in order for Joe Biden, today we applaud the first black female Vice President of the United State. Those two words mean so much for millions. There is no secret as to how Donald Trump ended up in the white house. Even though Hillary Clinton was a better candidate on the books she was a woman! Today a woman, a black woman will officially hold one of the highest positions of power in the Untied States opening the door for equality in leadership and ethnic diversity. So we hope! Hopefully this will lead to equality in pay in the workplace. Due to a number of challenges our team will not be able to cover the 2021 inauguration live.
