episode 179: The Soul Shack (Sept 2020) live @ Better Days, Miami
There will be Better Days ahead! I haven't played a gig in over 1/2 a year now, so no new mixes to post, leaving me to dig into the archives. One of the places I miss playing the most is Better Days in Miami, so I figured I'd post the recording from my last time there, back in January. I play an afterwork set there, so it starts a little more chill and then builds up to a party vibe for the late nite dj to take over. My Better Days sets are definitely different to my other Miami sets, with more hip hop, top 40, party vibes. (I also took advantage of the rainy night and the freedom I get there to play a Raekwon song I love, but have never played out at a gig) Hope you enjoy!
