Born out of reflection on his life at 63, our guest today Art Costello shares with us his heart-warming life journey. Through a sorrowful time, it reminded him that he has all the tools to get up and start doing. From that, he created Expectation Therapy. Art started his podcast, Shower Epiphanies, as another way for him to help and connect to people, sharing stories, and transitions.

As a counselor at Mercy Mental Health in San Diego, he worked with world-renowned ‘play’ researcher, Dr. Stuart Brown. Art’s greatest joy has been raising his family and spending time with his diverse group of friends. As a prolific blogger, his writing draws from his own observations on life and current events. His “Shower Epiphanies” Podcast has charted in the Top 200 Podcast several times this year and consistently in the Top 125 in the education category, it has been heard in 20 countries and downloaded thousands of times. It also can be heard on iHeartRadio. Taking these subjects, he then applies knowledge from his own achievements and experiences as a mental health counselor and successful entrepreneur to offer sage advice to readers. Art currently lives in Austin, Texas with his wife, Beverly, and their dog Sydney. He also has three grown-up children and five grandchildren.
