episode 17: Raven Twigg: Crazy rider requests, the OC, having multiple jobs and building a career in music.


We're talking music industry, concert nostalgia and much more today with Raven Twigg. 

Starting her career within the music industry in 2012 as a freelance music blogger based in the Northern Quarter of Manchester, Raven then joined the team at Manchester Arena where she stayed for 4 years in between travelling. Living in Australia, America and exploring Indonesia before settling back in the UK.

In 2017, Raven became a Bookings Assistant for SMG Europe, programming five U.K. arenas and theatres before migrating South and joining Metropolis Music as a promoter assistant to the Managing Director.

Raven has been involved with some exciting tours during her time with Metropolis Music including programming Somerset House Summer Series 2019 & 2020, Björk, Janelle Monáe, Charli XCX, Mika, Koffee, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Tyler, the Creator, Goldfrapp and many more.

In March 2019, Raven was part of a team of five industry professionals who established Women Connect UK. A networking collective for women working within the creative industry sector. Curating and hosting live events focused around important topics are some of the tasks Raven carries out as an active co-founder of the company. She also became part of the UNICEF music group with some of the bosses of the music industry, collectively utilising their resources and knowledge to raise funds for children who are in need.
