One more detail to add: I hate the hypocrisy of pious condemnation of homosexuality, but keeping gay people as house of worship choir directors. I also hate the hypocrisy of “Don’t ask, don’t tell” approach to gay parishioners, gay church leaders, gay ministry participants, and house of worship choir directors who are gay. Is there more worshipping than following? Is Jesus a servant leader or cult leader? Why the theatrics and fashion show behavior? Scripture feels tampered with and confusing because of the abusive behavior pure evil has attributed to Scripture. Why word salads? Why absolute certainty? Churchianity hurts. Spiritual illiteracy and Biblical illiteracy hurts too. Christ followers are diverse, so why are non-traditional Christ followers like me not considered as part of The Church? Why not mention Pascal’s Wager? Why not properly explain the controversy of Calvinism?Why is there more concentration on premarital sex and homosexuality than sex crimes?
