It's our weekend edition, for November 21 and 22. Our review of the stories and events of this past week. In looking back over the economic events of this past week, I can't help by feel a growing sense of caution. And that caution centers primarily over the great engine of this economy, the consumer. As we've discussed many times it has been the resilience of the consume that has really enabled this economy to navigate these tough times. But this week we saw some indication that that resilience may be waning.
