The initiative Kulturell Inkorrekt / Culturally Incorrect was founded by me in January 2021. The goal of Kulturell Inkorrekt/Culturally Incorrect is to share knowledge and concrete call to actions on the topic of intercultural competence, also clarifying prejudices and myths about other cultures, creating more awareness about intercultural communication and providing knowledge about business and culture. How do we deal with societal standards & our traditions? How do we train intercultural competences? How to empower migrant kids who feel stuck between two cultures - if they have two homelands? And can I as a migrant kid be more successful in business with the right mindset? Was ist Norooz? Warum feiern das einige Länder? Welche Bräuchte gibt es? Welche Traditionen?
Am Samstag, den 20. März 2021 ist es wieder so weit: die Welt feiert "Norooz", den "neuen Tag" heißt es wortwörtlich. Mit dem offiziellen Frühlingsbeginn in Deutschland feiern wir pünktlich das "persische" neue Jahr.
Was viele vielleicht nicht wissen: Insgesamt über 300 Millionen Menschen weltweit, feiern dieses Fest - eines der ältesten Feste der Geschichte.
2010 haben die Vereinten Nationen auf der 64. Generalversammlung diesen Tag, als den internationalen Norooz-Tag anerkannt.
Norooz wird in vielen Ländern der Welt gefeiert: Afghanistan, Albanien, Aserbaidschan, Indien, Iran, Kasachstan, Kirgistan, Mazedonien, Tadschikistan, (Türkei), & Turkmenistan.
In dieser Folge erzähle ich dir alles über den geschichtlichen Hintergrund, die Bedeutung von Norooz, warum sich vieles noch um unseren Sonnenkalender dreht; welche Bräuche & Traditionen es zu diesen 13-tägigen Feierlichkeiten gibt und warum Norooz eine Mischung aus Silvester und Weihnachten ist!
