Three high-level types of segmentation

One is called demographic segmentation, which deals with age, gender geography, salary, and race. The next one is behavioral segmentation. It deals with your target marketplaces, buying patterns, purchase frequency, benefits they look for, or whether they are first-time buyers or regular buyers. And the third one is psychographic segmentation. It gets into knowing the why, getting into behind why they do certain things such as their personality traits, lifestyle, likes, dislikes, or things of that nature.
