The initiative Kulturell Inkorrekt / Culturally Incorrect was founded by me in January 2021. The goal of Kulturell Inkorrekt/Culturally Incorrect is to share knowledge and concrete call to actions on the topic of intercultural competence, also clarifying prejudices and myths about other cultures, creating more awareness about intercultural communication and providing knowledge about business and culture. How do we deal with societal standards & our traditions? How do we train intercultural competences? How to empower migrant kids who feel stuck between two cultures - if they have two homelands? And can I as a migrant kid be more successful in business with the right mindset? Ich überbiete dich: Je größer, desto besser
Unsere Vorstellungen von "der Traumhochzeit" werden immer facettenreicher und anspruchsvoller.
Je mehr Gäste desto besser, je größer desto besser und hauptsache ich überbiete meinen Bekanntenkreis mit meiner pompösen Hochzeit. Man bezeichnet diese Trends (jeder macht es, jeder will es) als "Blockbuster-Megatrend-Konnektivität".
Das Privatleben unserer Gesellschaft ist irgendwie zum Wettbewerb geworden. Wer hat mehr Geld? Wer hat krassere Hochzeitsfeiern? Wer überbietet mit Gästen?
Auch wenn ich mich unbeliebt(er) mit dieser Folge mache, spreche ich darüber, ob es Parallelen in unserer Gesellschaft gibt - zwischen bio-deutschen und Menschen mit kulturellem Zusatz.
Wie groß feiert man? Welche Motivation steckt wirklich dahinter? Gibt es kulturelle Unterschiede, oder mehr Parallelen? Was ist die Erwartungshaltung der Familie? Und wie kann man sich dagegen wehren?
Vielen Dank an den Herren, der mir aus der Community, dieses Thema ans Herz gelegt und "gepitcht" hat. Auch wenn es nicht viel Content dazu gibt, versuche ich in dieser Folge, die wichtigsten Punkte zu beleuchten.
