On the 15th Episode of the Album Review Crew, Tom & Zeus & Sonny review the 1988 album by guitar legend, Yngwie Malmsteen, Odyssey. This is the guitarist's 4th album and his highest charting album to date. Ynwgie enlists singer Joe Lynn Turner and retains the Johansson brothers, Jens & Anders on keyboards and drums respectively. This was Yngwie's most ambitious commercial attempt for mainstream success. The album is filled with Yngwie's wizardry and JLT's smooth melodic vocals.
As usual the guys breakdown the tracks and rank the songs. They then rank the album and album cover against the previous 13 albums reviewed on the Album Review Crew Episodes.
So Hold On and look into your Crystal Ball because there's a Rising Force coming Faster Than The Speed Of Light or maybe its Deja Vu or you are Dreaming, but Now Is The Time for you to Bite The Bullet and have a Riot In the Dungeons and escape before the mighty Krakatau makes Memories of us all and we can be in Heaven Tonight.
Or maybe it's just that damn bumble bee!
