On the 17th Episode of the Album Review Crew, Tom & Zeus & Sonny review the 1990 album by Ratt, Detonator. This is the 5th studio album by the hard rock band from LA and the last to feature the classic Ratt lineup of Stephen Pearcy, Warren DeMartini, Robbin Crosby, Juan Croucier and Bobby Blotzer. The band brought in the legendary songwriter Desmond Child to help with the album and he co-wrote all of the tracks. The Ratt sound became a bit more pop metal and the album managed to go gold. This album also featured Ratt's only power ballad, Givin' Yourself Away.
As usual the guys breakdown the tracks and rank the songs. They then rank the album and album cover against the previous 15 albums reviewed on the Album Review Crew Episodes.
It will be a SHAME SHAME SHAME if you don't Scratch That Itch and listen to this episode!
