Background Information "Hello! I'm Marquita Myrick, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Women's Empowerment Coach. I add value by speaking about mental health issues while offering actionable tips individuals can take to overcome them. I was once on the other side of freedom. As a college student I battled depression and anxiety for years. It was my own experience that led me to become curious about how I could help others heal in the same way. I spent time healing my mental wounds, tackling my limited mindset through individual counseling, prayer and a deep desire to overcome my challenges. Fast forward to today where I'm not only practice telehealth with counseling clients in Colorado, Florida and Georgia, I also help coach others on specific issues blocking their overall growth. I'm living proof that healing is possible if you put in the work! I'm passionate about empowering others to heal, break through their mindset barriers, deal with their blocks and ultimately pursue the life they dream of! Motherhood: Did I mention I'm also a stay-at-home mom balancing #momlife, a counseling and coaching business, social relationships and still making time for self-care?
