Today, we talk about violence across the world, from Puerto Rican femicides, to Israeli exploitation of Palestinian labor, to police murdering Colombian protesters. Nomiki Konst, filming from Puerto Rico, discusses the epidemic of femicides sweeping the island. Terrifyingly, this is not new, but it has gotten worse over the past month.

Later, Andrew Ross joins to talk about his book, Stone Men: The Palestinians Who Built Israel. He shares what he learned from his interviews with Palestinian stone workers, who are compelled to work grueling and dangerous jobs that mostly benefit the occupying force of Israel.

For today’s panel, we have Jordan Zakarin and Simon Narode, who react to an outrageous ad put out by the CIA coopting the left’s language of identity to manufacture consent for their imperialism. The panel also responds to the protests in Colombia against economic inequality and police violence.
