Óskar Logi Ágústsson of The Vintage Caravan & I have a conversation about how he coped with 2020, his 1st brews, the soundtrack of his youth, his 1st shows, the Icelandic Scene, leaving Iceland & coming back, "Monuments", filling the void, The Vintage Caravan Brew & his hangover cure.
Throughout this conversation, Óskar was drinking Gæðingur brugghús 's "Beer with Bubbles" the 4.6% ABV Lager while I enjoyed Lagabière x The Wild Shack's "Collabo Wild Shack". This 6.1% ABV Mixed Fermentation Grisette was aged for a year in Oak Barrels & conditioned for three month on Boysenberries. It poured out with a gorgeous dark purple veil, smashed an earthy oak driven nose & slapped a tart berry filled finish. It was delicious!
