La última etapa en los Alpes fue tal y como nos esperábamos. Muchos ataques desde el inicio y un tiempo de mucha lluvia y frío.
Finalmente llegaron 3 ciclistas al inicio del último puerto y fue el australiano Ben O’Connor quien se mostró el más fuerte y ganó la etapa en Tignes.
En el grupo de los candidatos para el podium, de nuevo Tadej Pogaçar no dejó ninguna duda que el es el más fuerte y pudo sacar aún más diferencia a sus más directos rivales.
