Today, the Church celebrates the feast of St. Mary Magdalene. St. Thomas Aquinas referred to her as the apostle to the apostles. According to the gospel, Mary Magdalene was the first to meet Christ after he rose from the dead. She announced the good news of the Resurrection to the apostles.
