episode 181: Orlando Magic summer league preview, Bobby Bowden remembered, and NFL Hall of fame review

In episode 181 of Sports Bliss with Rob and Kris, Kristie started the episode discussing a new look Fred Durst revealed at Lollapalooza this summer. What do you think of his new look? Let us know. Then Rob shares with Kristie that Rob Zombie is planning to make a The Munsters movie. You won't want to miss her reaction. Then they dive into sports discussing the passing of college football great, coach Bobby Bowden. Rob recounts some of the highlights of his career and the path that lead him to FSU. They discuss the uniqueness of his career and how he could have changed college football by leaving to take the Alabama Crimson Tide job but remained at FSU. If he would have taken the job Nick Saban would have never been hired by Bama and this would have definitely changed college football history forever. They also discuss the effect Bobby Bowden had on the UCF football program and how much he helped them in the early years of the program. Next, Rob and Kristie discuss the NFL hall of fame weekend and some of the highlights from the more prominent players speeches, including how Peyton Manning roasts Ray Lewis and teases Tom Brady. They also discuss Josh Allen's recent extension deal and how this could affect Baker Mayfield's and Lamar Jackson's potential extensions with their current teams. Finally, Rob and Kristie discuss the Orlando Magic and the starting of summer league for their rookies Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner. They discuss comments about these players from new head coach Jamahl Mosely and what a successful summer league would be for the Magic. They also discuss Ben Simmons's recent comment that he is willing to sit out preseason to be traded and may sit out regular season games also. Will he be stuck on the Sixer's roster or are the Sixer's willing to lower their asking price to actually find a trade partner? And as always, they end the episode with trivia and a would you rather.

Why get life insurance? We pay hundreds of dollars per year to protect our homes, our cars, and even our phones, but too many of us aren't taking steps to protect our families' finances. Mortgage payments, private student loans, and other types of debt don't just disappear if something happens to you. A life insurance policy can provide your loved ones with a financial cushion they can use to cover those costs - and it can provide you with peace of mind that even in a worst-case scenario, they'll be protected. Already have coverage through work? Having life insurance through your job may not be enough: Most people need up to 10x more coverage to properly provide for their families. And coverage through work isn't portable. If you leave your job, the policy doesn't go with you, meaning a gap in coverage when you need it most. Why get covered now? Life insurance typically gets more expensive as you age, so it's smart to get a policy sooner rather than later. Worried about price?
