Halloween Re-release - Episode 22: Witch, Please! (The Setagaya Murders/The Bell Witch)

***We are re-releasing some of our creepiest episodes this month in honor of our favorite time of year. O'Dell's story of the Bell Witch is rumored to have inspired the movies "The Bell Witch Project" and "The Witch". (This episode originally dropped on March 31, 2021)***

Spring is in the air, and so are unsolved murders and urban legends. Today, we have one of each.

Erin starts the show with the unbelievable unsolved murders of the Miazawa family in the Setagaya ward of Tokyo, Japan which took place on December 30, 2000. A family of 4 were murdered during an alleged home invasion, but we have so many questions!

Next, O'Dell continues his "true" story that inspired urban legends that inspired movies series. Today he goes the paranormal route and talks about The Bell Witch haunting that many say inspired "The Blair Witch Project". While it was probably terrifying to the family, we think the alleged witch sounds like someone we would want to hang out with. She left us with total apparition inspiration!

Erin closes the show with an In Memoriam about a badly placed goat. (Yes, you read that correctly.)
